INTRODUCTION

Greetings Huskies,

A relatively large issue due to an additional week between deadlines.
Enjoy.....

PEARYHS.ORG: The pearyhs.org domain has only been renewed for two more years... on pure faith that this project will exist in two more years.  Approximately 430 of the 4,020+ alums aboard MSO have supported MSO over the past 6.5 years - less than 11% (includes repeat/regular donators).

MSO is user-supported through voluntary donations.  We thank you in advance for your consideration.  Detailed donation instructions may be viewed online (secured page - credit card transactions are the most efficient method) at https://id267.securedata.net/pearyhs/donation.htm

REUNIONS: A reminder to be sure that your contact info is up-to-date so that you won’t miss any invitations, especially if you’re scheduled for an event this year.  Use the “Sign-up/Update” link from the menu on MSO and complete the online form.  Also be sure to check your class “Missing Persons” listing to lend the committees a hand in tracking people down.  Details are always posted in the specific-class information areas.

IN THE NEWS: Liz Latham (1979) - Read a recent article about her upcoming documentary, “God’s Perfect Hate” that was featured in an edition of the Puget Sound Business Journal.  Visit www.lizardproductions.com and it’s linked from the front page of the site.  Liz says, “Thanks for your continued interest and support of this documentary project.”

GET WELL SOON: To Will Seng (1977).  Will was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on February 28th and has been in the hospital.  Please include Will and his family in your prayers.  Will’s wife, Kathy, is checking e-mail at willkathy@juno.com.

ALUMNI KIDS: Congrats to Ryan Carr (junior, Westminster High), son of Mark Carr (1978), who earned Carroll County Times’ Boys Basketball Player of the Year honor.  As you may recall, Mark was an All-County player during Peary years.  Thank you to Rob Wolf (1978) for forwarding this information.  The story may be viewed at http://www.carrollcountytimes.com/articles/2003/03/17/sports/sports1.txt

CONDOLENCES: Many classmates are notified directly, as we’re able, of timely funeral/arrangement notices, and in most cases this information is posted online immediately.  Please visit the website occasionally for updates and information between the monthly newsletters.  MSO makes a strong attempt to only distribute once a month (the newsletter), unless warranted/timely info makes a class-specific distribution absolutely necessary.  For those who were not directly informed, we sadly include the following items:

To the Kraybills - the Kraybills’ mom, Dorothy, passed away on March 3, 2003.  Mrs. Kraybill is the mother of alumni Linda Kraybill Asper (1963), Cindy Kraybill (1967), and David Kraybill (1969).  There is a notice in this newsletter.

ALUMNI SERVING OUR NATION: Stay safe.  We pray for your orders to return home soon.  THANK YOU to “Skip” Fitzgerald (1976) and Karen Wilson FitzGerald (1981) for offering “Care Packages” sent to Peary next-generation military personnel.  Skip and Karen may be contacted at fitzskjr@msn.com.

... and apologies to Doug Delashmutt (1976) for not being able to hook-up while here in Vegas with his family.  (Doug knows I’ve been affected by the onslaught of mulberry pollen here - gee, I never used to have allergies.)  Doug and family are on the plane back to Florida as this is being typed.  However, a photo or two will be posted from his visit soon!

P.S. If you wish to reply or comment, please don’t quote this entire newsletter back to us... it’ll take longer to weed-through and process - create a new e-mail to blau@viawest.net, plus it is extremely helpful to include your grad year in the correspondence.  If you have changes to your e-mail address or other contact information, please use the main menu links at www.pearyhs.org - thanks!
