(1975) Hello Everyone, Hope everyone is doing well. I am enjoying my time at
home with the family and have several projects in works to try and stay at
home permanently. The last 3 months I have been working with the Magruder
H. S. football team as their
strength conditioning coach. My roommate from college, Ed Ashwell, is the
head coach and my cousins, Mark & Brian Sweeney, are assistant coaches
and their sons play on the team ... it’s a lot of fun and great learning
experience for me. I have taken the HIT programming to another level
working with 60 athletes in 45 minutes. This experience will add another
chapter to the HIT book. Attached is a flyer regarding our Football summer camp
that Ken Harvey (Redskins linebacker), Coach Ashwell and myself have put
together. If you know of any athletes between 10-18 please forward this
flyer, I think they will learn a great deal about training and football,
and will have fun at the same time. Well, stay in touch and keep praying for our troops that
risking their lives for our freedom. John Philbin, M Ed, CCS, CPT, CSCS, CPRS President, NSPA [The camp flyer (.doc) may be downloaded from http://www.pearyhs.org/Philbin-Magruder.doc] From:

(1979) I am deeply sorrowful to report the news of the passing
of our Mother, Marlene Shulman on March 24, 2003.
Barbara (1976), Stephen (1983) and I (1979) will miss her very
much. She fought with
everything she had to keep living. She
enjoyed life so much. Some of you will remember her from volunteer work
with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, from all the carpools, working at the
Parklawn building, or just from around the neighborhood.
My father is doing his best to go on with his broken heart.
They were to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on
May 21, 2003. Quite an
accomplishment. We loved her
very much and she will truly be missed. There will be an empty place in
the hearts of many whose lives were touched by our Mother. From: Rob

looking at electrical circuits documented in a foreign language (pretty
sure there is a moral there). Memorable Teacher: Mr. Gibbs - “writing well has
