(1982) Memorable Incidents: too much to list here ! Since High School: I have my own home in, (guess
where..yep ROCKVILLE, 20853 ) and have had the time, energy and experience
to form my own business, starting with lawn and landscape, the music
performance, and finally ...Hair. The family trade had to take it’s pre
destined course sometime, so relented and gave up landscaping...to be a
hair stylist. you can find me
at ARTECH Hair Studio, owned by a friend, Rick Gesumaria, and located at
149 Rollins Ave..ROCKVILE ( are we starting to see any pattern in locale
here ??). I have a groovy life, and plenty of time to be indulgent
in my hobbies which include performing in not one but TWO classic rock/
oldies bands. Locally and up / down the Eastern Seaboard. Yes I guess you
could say I’ve set foot on just about every club stage there is, going
back to Hammerjack’s in Baltimore, to Bayou in DC ( RIP ) and as mundane
as SUMMITT STATION and Out of the Way Cafe..No record contract, no world
wide CD distribution, but plenty of good tunes and times (and sometimes a
fat pay check !) Hope all Rowdy Huskies are cool, and wish all the best to
everyone. Some Peary people I run into are ..the DiFonzo brothers ( David
and Michael ), Mike Harper, Kevin Harwood, Kathy Bowser/Marbry, Greg
Bowser, my very cool neighbor/ constructor Mark Ferdah, my very wild
cousin Mark Rigopoulos and cousin Margaret Wenzlaff, Phil Wenzlaff. I’m
sure there are more. A final wave and salute to those who didn’t make
the journey like Bruce Prothero.. Please call me, email, say hello, I haven’t changed a
WHOLE lot. Keep in touch as I will be recording and sending out a new
original music CD this year, as well as re-mastering a number of my
EIGHTIES demo’s recorded after my high school years. The band’s ( 2 )
information and bookings can be found at “ ROCKNROLLRELICS.com” and
“ ROCKINPNEUMONIA.com” I
also have a site on MP3.com.. Looking for a shout out hello from : Dawn
Knapp , Jeri Saylor, Kimberley Adams, Vicky Hughes, let me know where ya
are. I’m also In search of a large ship ANCHOR, prefferably
WHITE with some artistic GRAFFITTI gracing it..Any have one for sale/ rent

know. Memorable Teachers: They were a unique bunch..Mr. V

pounds 8 ounces he was my biggest baby yet.

believe that 3 is a charm and we found him to be the easiest baby of the
three (the other 2 were great babies too).

Verizon Wireless ad floating around. It will be in magazines, newspapers

Occupation: Children’s Book Editor, Significant Other: Abbe Tiger,

editor, I frequently speak at conferences, and have traveled all over this
country. Future Plans: I’d like to continue doing what I’m
doing now. Memorable Teacher: Mr. Gibbs without a doubt was the
teacher who had the greatest impact on my life. His very extensive
vocabulary/spelling tests broadened my understanding and appreciation of
language in profound ways. It was the beginning of my understanding
language and loving the roots of words, and using words with precision. He
was phenomenal with teaching literature. Our study of Steinbeck, Faulkner,
and Hemingway showed me how to look critically at authors and appreciate
their various styles. I especially loved Steinbeck and the social
consciousness that permeated his stories. In my work now I am still
reminded of the ways Mr. Gibbs showed us how to look at details in
books—and in movies. I can remember watching Greta Garbo’s hand
gestures, and watching the significance of a pair of boots in the movie,
All Quiet at the Western Front. He was demanding like no other
teacher—his class was the only real learning experience I had in high
school. He was the only teacher at Peary who ever really had me engaged in
my work! From: Ariel

trophy collection. Oh, does he ever look fabulous in salmon! My spare time includes designing new clothing lines,
spending time with my family and my two dachshunds, Mitiz and Helga,
volunteering at the synagogue and relaxing at the Mik-Vah and enjoying my
oceanfront home. Also, I’m
quite the jock. Future Plans: To continue to enjoy the good life. Oy!!!!! Memorable Teacher: Mr. Boteler; because he was so deep,
very philosophical and extremely introspective. He taught me to get in
touch with my inner self. He was a big influence on my marriage to
meditation and chanting. I moved to Potomac at the end of junior year and,
although I graduated from Churchill, but will always a husky at
heart. Cruising up and down Falls Road could never hold a candle to the
cruises up and down Bauer Drive. Thanks for the wonderful job you are doing with the

Kraybill <102447.3077@compuserve.com>
(1967) My mother, Dorothy Kraybill, passed away on March 3,
2003. She was the mother of
me (Cindy Kraybill, class of 67), Linda Kraybill Asper, class of 63, and
David Kraybill, class of 69). Many
of you Peary graduates knew her because she was very active at Peary High
School. She started the American Field Service chapter at Peary. And
she was always very active in fundraisers for the school. But she may have been best known as an ardent Husky
supporter: she was always
available to have her car decorated and drive the cheerleaders or fans to
the games. She was a
wonderful, supportive mother who made our house always welcome to friends.
Her memorial service was March 7 in Olney, Maryland.
Much to my surprise Miss Thomas and Mr. Hill attended and spoke
about her dedication to Peary High. You
can’t imagine how great a feeling it was to have them at the service.
We spoke afterwards about the incredible bond those of us who went
to Peary have. It truly is
unique. From: Miriam
