From:
Robin Bolotsky Carroll <Zebra287@cs.com>
(1971) I
hardly ever check my home pc and went on line today to find out that Roger
Kimmel passed away. I am so
sad to hear of this news! I
was in the class of 1971 and my name is Robin Bolotsky (Carroll).
Back at Peary HS everyone could always count on a great big smile
from Roger! He was always a genuine warm loving person.
I last saw Roger at the HS reunion at the special weekend
re-opening. It made my heart
so glad to see him (a wheel chair but still a smile for all those around
him). That was the last time I saw him.
He was always a very special person. I know he sees us up above
right now and I know he is still smiling. God Bless!
All my love to his family. -Robin John

and I attended the recent services for John Buck and I cannot begin to
express our sorrow for his young family, we would like to extend our
deepest sympathy to his family. Like
the classmates from 1980, it appears the “guys” from ‘81 have
remained close to each other over the twenty odd years since graduation.
It’s difficult for me to imagine the sense of loss that is felt
from his dear friends as evidenced by their recent emotional outpouring.
We will be in attendance in Laurel. Remember to hug your children and kiss
your wife. From:

Teachers: Miss Brewer for her encouragement.
Mr. Boteler for his originality and Miss Luck for her strong

all of the people I’ve spoken to over the years, I still think Peary had
the biggest “School Spirit” and still does! From:

Incidents: High School was pretty much a blur. The only things I can
remember is sneaking off down “the path” behind the school for a smoke
and hanging out at the smoking court. However, I do have a lot of memories
of Jr High, including something about Susan Hunter and a tree near the
library, David Seager’s poison-ivy phobia, and Beth Sanchez with an old
flame—as happy as I am with my life now, I sure miss those days. Since
High School: Military for 6 years, worked a number of jobs in MD, NC, and
now Georgia Pacific in Tennessee. Future
Plans: Finish getting my degree, advance in the company, and visit Mike
Falcone in Moscow. Memorable
Teacher: Mr Black - He was my 10th grade math teacher as well
as my wrestling coach. Needless to say I wasn’t able to finish wrestling
that year. Also taking 10th grade English twice with Mrs. Hale;
I can only imagine what she must have gone through having me in her class
for two years. She’s a good lady. From:

(1974) Just
wanted everyone to know that in January 2003, I will be moving to the
Office of Homeland Security. Here’s
hoping that my services are never needed in that arena.
Also, my son Evan was chosen last week to be a dancer in the 2003
edition of the Sherwood High School Rock & Roll Revival.
For a real treat, come out to the show.
It’s an unbelievable experience.
And after seeing Evan dance, you’ll know that he definitely got
his talent from his mother. [Sherwood’s
Rock & Roll Revival is scheduled for March 7-9, 14-16] From:

University. I was married in October of 1990 to my long time friend Dana
Bredice, also a runner, and now have two children Ellie and Sam. I

at WVU. I’ve competed in 2 Iron man triathlons and qualified for the
U.S. Duathlon Team in 2001 & 2002. I’ve been working as the Chief of
Planning for the City of Annapolis for the last 10 years. I continue a
strong friendship with Hank Fox (best friends and God Parents to each

state cross-country, we started the Peary High Running Club.
Needless to say we can still kick butt! Future

a happy healthy life. From:
Ken Roseman <kenroseman@earthlink.net>
(1969) Best
wishes to all “Huskies,” their families, colleagues, and friends, for
the holiday season and new year. This
has been a difficult year for me; as some of you already know my mother,
Joanne Roseman, passed away July 3 after suffering a series of strokes.
Although things are slowly getting back to normal, I’ll feel this loss
for some time to come. I
want to thank again all the members of “The Dinner Club” for their
emotional support during this time. I know that many other alumni are and
have gone through experiences like this and I’m interested in talking
with folks about how they’ve dealt with such things.
Please respond to the above e-mail address. The
photos from “Sun and Suds” (or was it “Suds and Sun?”) looked
great!! I’ve never been to O.C. and will have to come next time. I’m
doing more reviews for “SING OUT!” magazine and am also contributing
to a new music magazine called “HARP” which is based in Takoma Park,
MD. “HARP” covers a lot of alternative country and singer-songwriter
stuff, but they’re also devoting some space to Anglo-Celtic
folk/folk-rock, which is my specialty. For information on “SING OUT!”
go to: http://www.singout.org
To learn more about “HARP,” go to: http://www.harpmagazine.com I am
very upset about the state of the world and have attended several anti war
protests recently. I had hoped that the national/global
political/environmental situation would improve during my lifetime and now
I feel that is unlikely. Meanwhile,
what we have created with the RPHS alumni activity is a wonderful thing
which has turned out to be both a great vehicle for socializing AND a
source of emotional support when necessary. That’s
it for this go around. Have a great holiday season and remember to send a
contribution to help keep the M.S.O. going.
“You’ll be glad you did.” From:
