1966 GIRLS LUNCHEON:  Contact Gale Senseman-Privette at Gale7@Juno.com for the notices of planned luncheons!

CONDOLENCES: Unfortunately... too many of our classmates this month who have lost loved ones.  Notices are included throughout this newsletter.  We also mourn the loss of Ron Work (1970), who devoted a lot of time to assisting the Class of 1970 with its activities, and with the MSO.  He is survived by his mom, Joan, and sister Karen Work Seleznow (1974).  A dance will be held in Ron’s honor - TBA (if before the next newsletter, please watch the website for the details).

CHECK IT OUT: AspenHillNet.Net, from Jim Hardman (1976), thardman@earthops.org.... “I am nearing completion on a non-profit/ informational site AspenHillNet.Net.  If there are Peary alumni who are still in the general area, I can give them free links to their businesses in the Aspen Hill area.”

PEARY RUNNING CLUB: Runners... interested in an informal alumni-running group?  See John Golsen’s (1982) proposal in this newsletter!

VEGAS: Hope to meet-up with John Philbin (1975) here during De La Hoya vs. Vargas (PPV-9/14-Mandalay Bay) and any other alums who will be here for the match - tickets still available (only the $900 and $1200 seats remain - go figure).  John is currently training with Vargas in Big Bear, CA.  You other alums who are tentatively scheduled for a visit out here in September and October - keep me posted (i.e. please give a heads-up/reminder - old age, can’t keep track)!

THANK YOU: Thanks to those who have recently mailed financial support for this project, and to those who have taken advantage of the secure online form for credit card donations.  Please click on “Donations” during your next visit to www.pearyhs.org, or copy-and-paste into your browser... https://id267.securedata.net/pearyhs/donation.htm - thank you for your continued support (or consideration)!

MSO ANNIVERSARY: This issue of the newsletter marks the 6-Year point for the MSO.  It’s only made it this far due to your voluntary donations.  Approximately 14% of all alums listed on MSO have generously assisted at some point.  Let’s make it another year!  As of this writing, there are 3,864 alums and staff signed-on to MSO, with more than 129,000 visits to the site.  ~10,200 students passed-through the hallways of Robert E.  Peary High School from 1960-1984.

“Hi-de-hey Hi-de-ho, Ibbly-wibbly Wobbly-wo....” (thanks, Liz)!

P.S. If you wish to reply or comment, please don’t quote the entire newsletter back... create a new e-mail to blau@viawest.net. Hundreds of e-mails are received each month to MSO... the more concise your correspondence is, the quicker we can process and respond.  Thanks!
