The CLASS OF 1977 25-Year Reunion will be held October 11-13th.
The main event location is set for the Greenbelt Marriott.
Classes of 1976 and 1978 are also invited.
Stay tuned for details regarding other activities that weekend, and
sign-up information, in the coming months.
If you would like to assist with the reunion, contact Sandy Van
Dusen at sjvandusen@yahoo.com,
or to the (forming) committee at pearyhs1977@yahoo.com. The
CLASS OF 1982 has begun planning for its 20-Year Reunion.
You should be receiving a post card with more details in the next
day or so. Karen Kushner
Creel and the reunion committee would like all 1982 classmates to please
take a few minutes to complete the online reunion survey that is linked in
the Class of 1982 Information Section.
The results of the survey will better assist the reunion committee
in planning a memorable event. So,
your input is needed! Karen
may be contacted at creelk@arentfox.com.
The reunion committee may be contacted at peary82@hotmail.com. We
look forward to posting information about other class activities in 2002
(Classes of 1967 and 1972), and Betty Lopez will be informing the Class of
1975 of details for the class’s annual get-together.
Also see, in this issue, information from Kathleen Niepsey about a
gathering for 1968 alumni in Ocean City! It’s
important that you use the “Update” link if your contact information
has changed, else your class can’t get a hold of you.
This includes your e-mail address.
Each month’s distribution of the newsletter results in anywhere
from 50 to 80 “bounces” because people have changed providers and
e-mail addresses. We have to
follow-up with each one of these every time.
Please keep us up-to-date. The
updates submitted with the forms online are automatically directed to the
organizers and committee members of your class, and those who have
volunteered to assist the class committees in maintaining current alumni
records. We don’t want to lose touch with you! CLASS

The Midnight Sun Online is into its 6th year. It relies on the financial support of Peary alumni to pay for
the costs of bring all alumni and staff together again since the school
closed in 1984. There have
been more than 113,000 visitors to the MSO website, and we currently have
3,670 classmates (1963-1986) and staff listed.
10,400 (approximately) students passed through those
hallways—let’s find the rest of them! THANK-YOU
for your recent donations in support of this project.
If it wasn’t for you... those who have financially supported the
Midnight Sun Online over the years, nobody would be receiving this
newsletter and there would be no website.
Donation information is available online.
If you’re one of the 3,100 or so who we haven’t heard from yet,
we hope you’ll consider helping out!
Despite the end-of-year/ holiday plea for support to alumni last
month, we heard from only 4 individuals (repeat supporters). VEGAS:
