INTRODUCTION Greetings
Huskies: MSO
would like to express its deepest sympathy and concern to all that have
been affected by the devastating tragedy on September 11.
Prayers and thoughts go out to the innocent victims, to the police
and firefighters in the attempt to save those caught in the disaster, and
to our colleagues, families, and friends who may be experiencing loss and
pain as a result of this national catastrophe.
At this time, we have no information of any lost classmates from
the attacks. JOHN

As reported in the last issue, Connie Scuderi Gallerizzo’s (1975) mom is
ill and undergoing treatment. Connie’s
dad wrote a book a few years before he died, and she wanted to share this
with alumni: “The
USS LST 628’s Contribution to Winning World War Two as Seen Through the
Eyes of Albert C. Scuderi” can be read online at http://www.campdenwood.com/grandfathers/albertscuderi/index.html PEOPLE
IN THE NEWS:
Al Rosenberg (1981) has been made into a cartoon character in books 2
& 3 of “The Villikon Chronicles,” the hot new sci-fi series by
Young-Kinnaird Productions. The
graphic novels (i.e. super comic book) is based upon an award-winning
screen play, written by Bryan Kinnaird.
The story was adapted to comic form (very high tech) by award
winning artist Roy Young (“Spawn,” “Purgatory,” “Ladydeath,”
“Evil Ernie,” the WWF Series, and many more).
The big screen live action version is expected to begin filming
during the summer of 2002. Copies
of Villikon Chronicles (a 9 book series) can be picked up at most comic
book shops & conventions in the USA, Canada, and England.
But hurry, shops sell out fast. A
photo cell of page 38, book 2 of Al Rosenberg as Jacob Rezectar can be
viewed online at the “People in the News” section. REUNIONS:
