From:
Gale Senseman Privette <gale7@juno.com>
(1966) I got
a call from a very nice lady responding to the reunion letter I sent to
Sheila Semler. Since I had
written Sheila a personal note this lady called to tell me that Sheila
passed away Nov. 6 of a heart attack and other medical complications.. I
was truly sorry to hear that. I
shared homeroom with her for 6 years.
Sheila devoted her whole life to taking care of her ailing and
blind mom. Since Sheila’s
passing her mom has been placed in a nursing home and isn’t doing very
well at all. So there is no
place to send any cards of sympathy at this point.
We can just keep her in out thoughts and prayers.
She’ll be missed and bless her for taking such good care of her
mom. I know she deserves a
gold star in heaven for that. [MSO
apologies - this was missed in the April newsletter] Date:
Mon, 30 Apr 2001 I am
looking for an old friend & classmate, Debbie Johnson, who graduated
in 1969. After she graduated I believe she married and her husband’s
name was Schebb (sp.) In the late seventies she remarried Tom Denault and
moved to Myrtle Beach. If anyone can get a message to her or knows her
where abouts I would appreciate your help. I can be reached via e-mail, dr82j@nih.gov.
Thanks... From:
Cindy Libby Saunders <cindysaunders12@hotmail.com>
(1981) Cindy
and Greg Saunders welcomed yet another Saunders to their clan.
Hunter James Libby-Saunders was born on March 31, 2001 in Portland,
Maine. Hunter weighed 6
pounds and was 19 ½ inches long. He’s
growing like a weed! Anxiously
awaiting for Hunter’s birth were: Heather
17; Sarah 15; Joe 13; Tom 11; and Kevin 9.
Mom and Dad were also anxiously waiting for his arrival, too! This completes our family as well as filling every room in
our new 6-bedroom mansion on our lake in Maine! From:

(1982) I
found out about the website from my Sister.
Occupation:
Bookkeeper/Stained Glass Artist, Spouse: Tim, Children: Amy Elaine-20
Months Memorable
Incidents: All of it—I can’t think of one thing without being drawn to
another! Football games,
dances, working on plays, graduation, hanging out with friends, parties we
weren’t supposed to be having, working at Radford’s Bakery, and even
learning a thing or two. What
a great experience! Since
High School: I only spent one semester at college before heading straight
out into the work force at mostly paper-pushing jobs.
I learned bookkeeping from an accountant I worked for and
eventually started my own bookkeeping business that I do from home.
I’m in the process now of opening a stained glass business that I
want to become my primary business. I was
married briefly in my early 20s, spent a few years in the single life, and
then met Tim when I was 28. We
were so well matched that I decided it was worth another try, so we got
married 3 years ago, have a beautiful daughter, Amy, and live down in
Southern Maryland near both of our families and the Chesapeake Bay.
All in all, life is pretty darn good—Tim and I are both
self-employed—so we trade off work hours and get to keep Amy home with
us. Watching her grow and
learn has been one of the most blessed experiences of my life—and it’s
just beginning! Future
Plans: Tim and I want to have another child sometime in the next year or
two (I’m already 35 for heaven’s sake!).
Tim has opened his woodworking business and it’s still growing.
I am working on opening my stained glass business, and hope to put
out a series of patterns I’ve designed. I
would like to know if any plans have been made for our 20th
reunion. Thank
you for your work on this site—it’s a great job! From:

wanted to send a heartfelt thanks to the extraordinary people who
coordinated the benefit on the 29th of April, for my twin
brother John. Also, to all of the wonderful people who attended the event
to show their love and support of him.
I know that it went a long way to boosting his spirits. John has always been my best friend and I know how talented
and funny he is, but to see how he has affected so many other lives was
amazing. I am proud of our
community of friends and the Peary alums that took the time out to show
their support. Keep praying for him. From:
