Since High School: Three and 1/2 years ago, I founded SPECTRUM Science Public Relations, a health care marketing communications and public affairs firm. We help pharmaceutical firms, medical societies, and other health care organizations accomplish their communications goals.
Future Plans: Stay sane, love family, get up and go to work, retire early to teach or consult — in that approximate order.
Memorable Teachers: Miss Tigani, Mrs. Borman, great science teachers. Very inspiring, despite my average grades. Also, Miss Barnes, an outstanding and extremely patient German teacher. I did well in German in college thanks to her. Last but not least, Miss Heidelberger, journalism teacher and Midnight Sun coordinator, definitely set me on course. Thanks to them all!

Due to unforeseen problems, we have had to change the date of the reunion of classes 1963, 1964, and 1965 to the weekend of August 11-13, 2000. Anyone who has already sent in payment and now finds he or she is unable to attend on this new date, will be given a full refund upon request to the appropriate class coordinator. One bonus to this date change is that the group rate for rooms at the Marriot is even lower in August than it was in Oct. Our group room rate is now $64/night. But the number of rooms is limited and you must call 800-228-9290 and make your reservation directly with the hotel. The group rate will not be available for reservations made after July 31, 2000.
I also urge you to get your payment and reservation forms in to us as soon as possible. We have to give the hotel the number of attendees soon and we will be making some important decisions based upon the number of people expected to attend the reunion. The cost for Saturday night's event is now $80 per person up until Dec. 31 and after that date the price goes up to $85 per person. We also need to have submissions for the reunion booklet as soon as possible. We need to type them up and get them ready to go to the printer in time to have a booklet bound and printed to pass out to you at the reunion.
All of us who are working to make this reunion a success are volunteers and we all lead very busy lives. Your help in getting in your reservations, payment and your booklet information to us as early as possible would be greatly appreciated. Please do it now before you get busy with holiday preparations. Many thanks to those of you who have already sent in your forms and payments. To the rest of you who have procrastinated and just haven't gotten around to it yet, LOG OFF RIGHT NOW and go rummage through that pile of old mail, dig out the forms, write a check and send it in TODAY. Okay, now I know many of you can no longer find your forms and can't remember where you put them or maybe they got tossed out with the junk mail. Just send me an email and I'll mail you another copy. DO IT NOW.

Since High School: I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988, and moved to Massachusetts shortly after. I have been working as a Social Worker and currently run a program at a local Aids Service Organization. I met my husband, Ted, in 1991 and we married in 1992. He received his Masters Degree from Johnson & Wales Culinary Institute. Needless to say, he is an amazing cook! I have to exercise daily to keep up with his cooking! I have run in a few 5K races and plan to do a 10K soon. We have a beautiful house 35 minutes from Boston. We have 4 cats and are hoping to soon adopt a Greyhound. We enjoy traveling, (Carribean every winter for a week!) live music, the beach, the mountains...life has been very sweet for me! I also practice Kripalu Yoga.
Future Plans: Kids????...Undecided. More travel is definately in our plans!

Future Plans: I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow Up. Would like to move to a small town in Maryland and live a more quiet life. Would like to find a job that I can do from Home, so I may be there for my daughter and her friends when she is in High School.

I found out about the website through web tv and by a cousin. Occupation: Minister/Hotel manager
Since High School: I went to montgomery college for a short period of time, and then ventured out into the management field from managing Gun shops to florist shops to Hotels and have entered into the ministry for some years now.
Future Plans: To continue in ministry if not in the United States then in Israel, where I have been and ministered several times now.
Memorable Teachers: I remember Priscilla Clagett, Laura Rosen, Carrie Luck and others they spoke great things into my life and were great supporters, especially when I went up for early graduation. I was originally supposed to graduate in 1978 but I wanted to start an early career and these teachers were of some that voted for me for early graduation (they wanted to get rid of me!).
I would love to hear from any classmates from either my graduating class of 1977 or my original peers of 1978 and a special hey to Neal Pizzano, we worked together for a family when a mutual friend was killed many years ago.

Peary-ites:
An update since my first (and last) submission to the MSO in June '97 and request.
First, the request. I'm on the committee for the Class of '75 25th reunion, which will be next year. The committee—Betty Lopez, Connie Scuderi, Brenda Smith, Dave Kovack, Mark Willette, and I—currently is securing a venue, getting a DJ, planning a menu, etc. But soon we'll be looking for our classmates. Anyone out there who knows a Class of '75 alum, please let us know how to get a hold of her or him. Thanks.
Now, the update: After nearly 12 years as a writer for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, I've finally moved on. I'm now the communications director for the Coastal Conservation Association. It's a group of about 70,000 saltwater fishermen in states from Texas to Maine that is concerned about marine fisheries resources. CCA is not an environmental group—we don't want to lock up the resources but conserve them so that they can be used now and in the future. (Fishermen who want to make sure there are fish to fish.) Anyway, it's a worthwhile organization, and anyone who would like to join can call me at 202-628-2444 or visit the CCA Web site at www.joincca.org.
On the home front, there are still six of us Dave Warners: me; my wife, Susan; Whitney, Samantha, Jack, and Emily. And, oh yeah, two dogs: Max (11?-year-old Yellow lab) and Lily (5?-year-old Beagle). My oldest child is now a junior at Paint Branch High School where she just completed her third season on the varsity cross-country team and soon will be cheerleading on the varsity squad. Two kids are in middle school, and the youngest is in elementary school. Now, the families of my sisters who went to Peary—Amy ('78), Sally ('82), and Judy ('84)—are growing by leaps and bounds! They soon will have 10 children combined. Brother Mike ('80) is still living in Boulder, Colo. Around Christmans he'll be back in the Aspen Hill area—staying with Mom and Dad on Shippers Lane, which sent tons of young lads and lasses to Peary: Glaudemans, Crocker, Giffin, Niland, O'Gwinn, Hatanaka, Eddins, Polcari, Hottel, Tomasello, DeJulio.
I reported last time that I play basketball during the fall and winter with a number of Peary alums, including Dave Kovack, Tom Gazenski, Keith Heinrich, Doug Lanciano, John Seng—all '75—Bruce Heller ('74), Pat Messett ('73), Rob Schreider ('73), and Brian Cannon ('76). This year is about the sixth that most of us have played. A newcomer this year is Ed Simmons ('73). We're all a little slower than we were two years ago, but speed isn't really an issue when it comes to drinking a few "adult beverages" after the basketball. (Anyone who'd like to join us for the beer-drinking part can come up to the Grand Marquis in the Olney shopping center on Thursdays around 10.)

Since High School: Worked Medical Research for 10 years at Litton Bionetics, and moved to S.C. Then I joined the Navy and have been with them since. Participated in Operation Desert Storm and worked with Nato forces for about 6 years. Just recently got back from Operation allied force during the recent War zone in the Med.
Future Plans: Plan to retire and move to W.Va. and live to be a ripe old age with my wife and be happy ever after being a law enforcement officer.

Any alumni involved with folk/roots music and dance (as performers, agents, managers, record company representatives, festival presenters/organizers, talent buyers, print/electronic journalists, academics etc. etc.) should strongly consider attending the year 2000 "Folk Alliance" conference which will be held Feb. 9 - 13 in Cleveland, Ohio. The "Folk Alliance" (full name: North American Folk Music and Dance Alliance) is a trade association of professionals involved with folk/roots music and dance. "Folk Alliance" organizes an annual conference which is held in a different city every year, publishes a regular newsletter, and offers other services. Another Sighting!!— "The one and only currently active RPHS cheerleader" wowed the judges at Lewie's (Bethesda, MD) on Hallowe'en and took second place in the costume contest!! "PEACE, LOVE, AND...GO HUSKIES!"
