INTRODUCTION

Greetings Huskies:

CONDOLENCES: Richard L. FitzGerald, Class of 1982, passed away on
September 15th. He is survived by his parents, Catherine Crosby, and
Donald FitzGerald. Also, his siblings, all Peary grads, Skip-'76,
Donny-'78, Denise-'79, Dennis-'79, Karen-'79, and Tim-'80. Sister
In-laws, Karen Wilson FitzGerald-'81, Laurie Yost FitzGerald-'78.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Hero's Inc., Washington,
DC. The family wishes to extend its thanks for your support during this
difficult time.

CLASS OF 1970: For those who may be unaware, Kathleen Clark Danforth
reports that her best friend and 1970 alumna Irene French died in
February 1994.

PRAYERS: Patrick Casteel (Class of 83 and living in Wausau, Wisconsin)
had a heart attack Sat. August 28. Doctors performed a 6-bypass surgery
and he's doing okay. Patrick also suffers from adult diabetes and it
has been a real struggle with special diets and insulin shots.
Patrick's coworkers donated vacation time to allow the six weeks
required for him to recover (since his company's current disability plan
does not cover everything). Get well soon to a full-recovery, Patrick.
Patrick would love to hear from some of his old classmates he feels he
was very fortunate enough to have grown up with at
patrickcasteel@hotmail.com

WEDDING BELLS: Dave Rush, Class of 1971, is engaged to be married on
Saturday, October 16 to, as Dave describes, "a hot young French babe."
Further details in this newsletter.

BIRTHS: Larry and Jeannette Frederickson (1983) Hill are pleased to
announce the birth of their daughter, Shannon Elizabeth, born on 9/8/99.
KIDS NEWS: Congratulations to John and Mark Cross for super-human grappler
feats! John and Mark are the sons of Scott Cross (1976) and Mary Bergmann
Cross (1979). Details of birth announcements and alumni kids' news can be
found on the website in the Husky Pups Club section!

REPHS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION: We've heard that there will be a 3-day multi-
class "homecoming"/reunion at the new Hebrew Academy (our alma mater),
and plans are being made now for this big weekend event to be held in
June 2000. Contact Neal Pizzano for more details about the event and
alumni association membership at npizzano@erols.com!

REUNIONS: One more reunion to go this year... the Class of 1969! See
Ken Roseman's article for the details. The Classes of 1974, 1979, and
1984 held their reunions recently. A report of the 1984 reunion is in
this issue, and photos from the 1974 and 1979 events will be posted
online soon. Planning continues for the joint 1963-65 reunion in 2000.

WELCOME: Coach Pine!
