squad and also working with a junior (Elementary school ages) cheerleading
team. Her plans after high
school are to attend college to study math and become a teacher. I am
very proud of her accomplishments and wanted to share these with you all. Gerry

Catholic and singing in the church choir. Bought a great house in
Frederick County in ‘86. Love it here, it’s my “forever house.”
Got a great Malamute/wolf mix named Chili Dog.
Very sweet and gentle. You probably think I’m crazy for owning
such a dog, but he’s the biggest sweet-heart and in the 12 years we’ve
had him the worst thing he’s ever done is cried out because one of the
kids stepped on him. This
all probably sounds pretty boring, but I couldn’t be happier. I bump
into Lots of Peary grads in this part of Southern Fred. Co. Future
Plans: Raise my kids to be good people, Love my husband forever (that’s

Lisa Des Roches Coleman <timlisacoleman@juno.com>
(1982) Well
I’m sitting here with my 14 year old daughter, Jessica, thinking “well
what do I write?” Here I
go: After
graduating I really didn’t know what to do. My Mom sold the house on
Flint Rock, and we moved into the Bauer Dr. Apts. I married Tim (class of
‘76) in 1984, moved to Jessup, and had my first daughter, Jessica.
Shortly after that we moved to Ijamsville (Fred. Co.) and had our first
son Tommy in 1987 (named after my brother, class of ‘76). I became a
Catholic. (2nd best decision in my life. 1st was
Tim) We had 2 more kids, Jennifer 12-23-91 and Jimmy 2-28-94.
Now it’s 2000. We’ve been married almost 16 years, owned our
house for 13 and are doing our best to raise good kids. I am a family
daycare provider. This lets me be home with my kids. You’d think it
would be an easy job, but I work 55 hours a week. Between my own kids and
the daycare kids, there is a lot of stress. At least I’m here when my
kids come home from school. I
sing in the church choir, teach confirmation class with Tim, and whatever
else the Good Lord feels I have time for. I see
an awful lot of Peary people living up here. It’s a wonderful place to
raise your kids. It’s also very easy to find a house with a huge yard.
The schools are A-1 but they are getting a little crowded. Julie
Ellen (Beirow) visited me recently from Arizona. She just had her 4th
child last spring. A little girl named Callie. She has 3 older boys ages
13-6. I’d love to hear
from: Becky Smith & Chris Englebrecht. Here’s
something funny, Jill Laurienzo (class of 81) and I married brothers. Now
we’re sisters-in-law . I
can’t say I miss High School. I love the life I have. Anyway I have a
daughter who’s in High School now. I have fun going to her events and
can dream of my teen-age years through her. From:

Only ten more to go and retirement. I got married to the most
wonderful lady from Delaware. Had two kids. Was in coma for two weeks,

Peary down. Future
Plans: Just finish ten more years at AFL then retire and take up a part
time, just for pocket money and watch my kids graduate from high school. Memorable

yardstick and whacking it between students legs who were dozing off. One
