Occupation: Aerospace Engineer, Spouse: Danielle, Children: Rachel - 4, Joshua - 16 months Memorable Incidents: Nothing specific that stands out, although I do recall a lot of laughs during senior year with the other class officers, and in putting together the newspaper with the rest of the 'Midnight Sun' staff. Since High School: Following graduation I attended the University of Maryland on an Air Force ROTC scholarship. After four and a half grueling years, I graduated with a B.S. in aerospace engineering and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. My first and only active duty Air Force assignment was as an air-to-air weapons analyst at the 83rd Fighter Weapons Squadron, Tyndall Air Force Base, Panama City, Florida. Shortly after arriving in Panama City in May, 1989, I met Danielle, the wonderful woman who eventually became my wife. Of course, it took me a while to realize that the Almighty had specifically chosen to put us together; in fact, I didn't really realize it until September, 1992, when I made the most important decision in my life -- I accepted Yahshua the Messiah of Nazareth as Savior and Master (you might know Him as Jesus Christ). Up to that point, I had always considered myself a good person and a Christian. I'd never done anything really bad, I'd gone to church regularly growing up and had even been an altar boy. But I didn't have a personal relationship with my Creator and Redeemer. I finally reached a point in my life where I'd had enough of running from the Truth. A scant two months after making that life-changing decision, Danielle and I were married. Now I can say that it is truly a match made in heaven. Today, I'm also blessed with two awesome children who definitely keep life interesting. I separated from the Air Force in October, 1995, and spent the next three and a half years providing engineering support to the Air Force at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, FL. A few months ago I accepted a new position with Aerotek, a subcontractor on the National Missile Defense program here in Huntsville, Alabama. I've appeared a number of times as a guest columnist in two local Florida newspapers and have several novels in various stages of development. I've also recently started putting together memoirs of the Iran Hostage Crisis and its aftermath with my Mom. We intend to have them published in time for the twentieth anniversary of the end of the crisis (January, 2001). If any of you out there (particularly those who knew me or my sister at the time) have any personal recollections of the crisis, please let me know (german@hiwaay.net). Since I was only about thirteen when it was going on, a lot of the details are pretty fuzzy now. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Future Plans: To continue to grow in my knowledge of the Truth and to apply it to my life in a way that glorifies my heavenly Father and His Son. To set the example of the victorious Yahweh kind of life for my children and to touch the hearts and minds of people hungering for the Truth. Memorable Teachers: Mr. Hill, for his commitment to excellence. Mr. Clarke, for bringing history to life and making it interesting. Mrs. Rosen, for the stories, and for taking 'The Last Class' under her wing as its sponsor. Dr. Fleeger, for the bloodletting that was AP English, which taught me to be ruthless with my own writing. Dr. Duke, one of the most underrated teachers, for his attention to detail. ********** From: Patricia Moscoso Lutton pmlutton@aol.com (1982) Date: Sun, 22 Aug 1999 Subject: Update I found out about the website from Rebecca Naham Crockett class of 1985.
