Please take a minute to fill out the reservation form and the reunion booklet questionaire and mail them back as soon as possible. We need to know if enough people are interested in attending before we pay a huge nonrefundable deposit for the hotel. If there aren't enough people to cover the cost, we may have to change our plans. This would involve finding an alternate place for the event or else raising the cost. Please send your form back right away and let us know your intentions. Although it may seem like October 2000 is a long way off, hotels already have bookings for that month and we really do need to plan far ahead if we want to have this at a nice place. Please help your reunion committee by responding promptly to the mailing. I signed the "condolence book." We have suffered a loss but nothing like what the students, and staff of Columbine and their families and friends have experienced. One of the reasons why this incident may have hit me is probably my involvement with RPHS alumni activity. I continue to believe that the RPHS alumni activity is one of the most amazing "grass roots" phenomena the world has yet witnessed. WE WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN!! Thanks again for all your work on behalf of the RPHS alumni and staff. No 1969 reunion news at this point, will let you know of any significant developments as soon as I can. Always remember to "find a way or make one!"
