Henry jdhenry@ems.att.com (1981) Date: Mon, 8 Mar 1999 Subject: Update I found out about the website from my brother Robbie in Seattle, class of '79. Occupation: AT&T International Data Specialist, Significant Other: Erica Combs Memorable Incidents: Mr. Clarks extra bonus question, SIR!! Amy, I think we even had him together? Since High School: Living southern style, my father and I have been keeping bees for a little more than 15 years. Never married, I guess that's clear from one of my previous answers. Career has changed quite a lot, I've gone from bar tending to managing a gym (which is what I was doing at our 10 year reunion) to being a director of a national dating service, (my friends called me the "lesbian madam of a heterosexual dating service") to my current "adult" career with AT&T. Future Plans: Who knows? Memorable Teachers: Mr. Hunt stands out because I took band for so long, he was an incredible trumpet player even though we gave him such a tough time. Of course Mr. Clark and those damn bagpipes, that handle bar mustache, but the way he made a class interesting was like nobody else. My favorite part was the way he would read our answers out loud for the whole class to laugh at, and if you didn't answer, no extra point, and I needed every point I could get. Softball coach, Mr Kirkpatrick, he would make us pay a quarter for every curse word and the tab had to be paid by the next game or you didn't play. At the end of the season he used the money for our end of season party. Dutch Hahn? (not sure of spelling) My basketball coach, I think he favored us gals on the team, he would let us take the driver ed. car to get filled up with gas (a firebird or trans am, what other school had this kind of car for drivers ed? Nancy Gordy, Steph Cash, Jill Johnson and I would take that car over to Layhill Rd. and see if we could get all four wheels off the road. I don't think he ever knew. ********** From: Lisa Lewis Caudle SCLCfive@aol.com (1982) Date: Mon, 8 Mar 1999 Subject: kids in the news 3/7/99 - Matt Caudle (age 12) son of Scott and Lisa Lewis Caudle (1982) took 2nd place in the Junior 78 lb. weight class at the Mason Dixon Wrestling Tournament in Walkersville, MD. If all you have given me is your email address, please fill out an update form and give me your postal address. Please be assured that addresses and phone numbers are never printed on-line, but if I don't have your address I can't mail you the reunion information so please be sure to send it to me. If there is anyone reading this off the web site who has not given me an email address because you don't want it to be listed, I can also assure you that I won't list the email address on-line if you don't want it published - just let me know. But I will be sending frequent reports regarding the reunion plans to those for whom I have email addresses and if I don't have yours, you will miss out on that. It's a bit too costly, and also quite time-consuming, to send out postal mailings and thus those for whom I only have postal addresses will not receive updates as frequently. If anyone from the class of 63 or 65 is reading this, the same is true for your class coordinators and I'm sure they would like the same information. In the next month we plan to send a mailing to all 3 classes and this will have some important information and will also be offering a discount in the cost for those who submit payment early so please be sure we can reach you. Thanks, Carol Cotton Hendrix, Coordinator for the Class of 1964 ********** From: Patricia L. Toler PLToler1@aol.com (1983) Date: Sun, 21 Mar 1999 Subject: General Topic I just wanted to say that since it appears that Jeff Davis is unavailable at the moment, if needed, I will be more than happy to try and take over as Class Coordinator. In order to do this, I will need help with Missing Classmates and updated information. Anyway, I'll be trying to find missing classmates. I'm also going to try and get started on getting things ready for the 20th reunion since we missed our 15th...also, a suggestion was made that we could probably have some kind of picnic this year in the summer time...let me know what you all think about that. Also, as I am sure you are all aware by now, I have an at home typing business now. If anyone needs any typing services done, feel free to check out my website.. I can be emailed at either PLToler1@aol.com or PLToler@aol.com. Yes, I have two. :) Well, I hope that everyone is doing well, and I would sure love to hear from my classmates and I hope that things are going well with everyone. I saw a couple classmates at the fundraiser on Saturday (03/20/99). It was nice to see that they havent changed a bit. And it was great meeting a lot of the other Alumnis from the different classes that graduated from Peary over the years. Okay, change of topic again: Things are going slowly for me in my business, but thats to be expected since I just started not too long ago, but its getting there. Webpage making is fun, if you have the right tools...I have a ways to go before I become the master that Bob Lau is, speaking of which, "Hey, Bob, you are going to have to teach me how to do forms"... So, if anyone from the class of '83 knows where classmates are that arent listed on the email list, let me know, so I can update the list that I'm making...or have them contact me and let me know their where abouts. And Class of '83, give me your input on a picnic for this summer or next summer, at least something informal so that we can all just get together and catch up. Well, thats all I have to say for now. I'll keep you posted on how things are going. And if anyone knows where Danny Ryan or Mary Jo Wurdeman are now, let me know. I'd really like to get in touch with them. Catch ya later. ********** From: Tana Holderman tanah@gte.net 91975) Date: Wed, 24 Mar 1999 Subject: Update Love to look at the site and so do my teenage sons.
