From: Linda Hunter Perrine lperrine@netfox.net (1964) Date: Sun, 24 Jan 1999 Subject: Peary High School

I found out about the Peary website from a letter received last week from Carol Cotton Hendrix. I especially enjoyed going to the web site. The playing of the alma mater was especially neat. I have not kept up with the goings on or the people of our class. I daresay, few even remember me! I am currently teaching Spanish (thanks to the love that I developed for that language under the tutorage of Mrs. Groner) at North Harford High School in what is left of rural Harford County, Maryland. I am married (31 years to the same man!) and have two grown sons. No in-laws and, thankfully, no grand children (I'm much too young, you see). As I looked over the list of Missing Persons, faces came to my mind. John Stahl lived next door to me for all of my Rockville years. I have no idea where he is now. I have let my brothers know about the web site. My brother, Carl, was the president of that sixth grade class who did all of the work about selecting the name of our school. He, I'm sure, enjoyed reviewing the site.

Occupation: Spanish teacher, Harford County, MD, Spouse: Richard, Children: Scott age 27, Marc age 24

Memorable Incidents: Mrs. Richardson got upset with me when I decided to drop Advance Biology in favor of a non-academic course in my senior year. That's something I now have to deal with my own students who decide to cop-out of rigorous courses!

Since High School: Wow! We are avid campers and have visited all of the lower 48 states. We still have Alaska and Hawaii to do. We spend as much time as possible enjoying the wonders of America. This past summer we took a European vacation visiting England, France, Switzerland and Spain for a month. We are very active in our church and are the proud "pretend" grandparents of a wonderful set of quintuplets.

Future Plans: We are looking forward to retirement in the next couple of years. After that, our home address will probably be our license plates.

Memorable Teachers: Mrs. Groner who gave me my love for the Spanish language; a love that I now try to instill in my students. Mr. Hill who let me know that I really could do math - which I now love. Mrs. Richardson who had more faith in me than I had in myself.

Wishing you health and hope to hear from you. Thanks for updating me.

From: Sue Ann Symington Goby suegoby@coconet.com (1969) Date: Sun, 24 Jan 1999 Subject: Business Solutions of Naples, Inc.

I am proud to announce the opening of my new office, Business Solutions of Naples, Inc. We are an accounting and tax firm serving individuals and small businesses. I am an Enrolled Agent, a certification earned through examination given by the Internal Revenue Service. My specialty is representing clients before the IRS.

I moved to Naples, Florida, in 1994 when my husband took a job transfer. After selling my practise in Manassas, Virginia, I began the long process of building another client base. After four years, I have reached the point where I have outgrown the home office and have moved into a suite of offices with three employees. As luck would have it, another Enrolled Agent was retiring and I was fortunate enought to purchase his client base. The office has undergone renovation and we are ready for the new tax season with everything from new carpeting to new computers.

From: Nancy Privette Kimbrough fancynan2@hotmail.com (1964) Date: Wed, 27 Jan 1999 Subject: Death of Carol Lerner Minotte

This is more of a query than an article. I noticed that Carol Lerner Minotte was listed as deceased in the class of 1964. If anyone can provide information as to how Carol died it would be greatly appreciate. Carol and I were good friends in high school and college. She was part of my singing group and later our band. If you have any specifics please e-mail. I have exhausted all other avenues to find out how Carol died. I lost contact with her several years ago. She was such a fun person and I was greatly saddened to hear that she was no longer with us. Please e-mail me if you have any information. Thanks.
