INTRODUCTION Greetings Huskies.... there are currently 2,169 classmates listed with the MSO. Thank you for continuing to spread the word! PEARY CHAT ROOM: Read how to access and use an online chat room dedicated to Peary alumni use -- reunion committees may consider using this feature for occasional planning meetings (DO take minutes and distribute to those who don't make the meetings, and have an agenda). The chat room will be linked from the MSO site shortly. Thanks to Steven Mohr (1967) for making this available to Peary alumni! PEARY LISTSERVE: Sign-up for the MSO's majordomo listserver. Thanks to Jim Hardman (1976) for configuring this listserv for our use. Detailed instructions can be found at http://earthops.org/Harvest/brokers/Peary_High/maillist.html FUND RAISER: Some photos and the attendee list from the event last March have been posted. Please take a look at the list.... many purchased blocks of tickets for their group, so we only have the name of the purchaser. If you don't see a name that should be there, please let me know: blau@clark.net REUNIONS: No reported updates from planning committee chairs for reunions since last month's issue. The latest information available is online for the classes of 1969, 1974, 1979, and 1984. Planning continues for the joint 1963-65 reunion in 2000. Please browse the missing persons lists in the class information sections and help the committees track down some classmates. REPHSAA: No updates available. As mentioned last month, the minutes from the April 21, 1999 meeting of the REPHS Alumni Association will be posted online when received. (Minutes from the last meeting held in 1997 are available on the website.) Contact Neal Pizzano at npizzano@erols.com for the latest plans, purpose, updates/progress, and actions taken for his 19-month mission. The REPHSAA may plan to hold a 5K-Run, spring 2000.... stay tuned. CANCER RIDE: According to the updates at www.onevoiceusa.com, Bobby McQuin's bicycle ride from San Diego to Virginia Beach is on-track - a ride to fight childhood cancer - that began March 15. RACE-FOR-THE-CURE: It's not too late to participate!
