Lisa Salsitz/Talmud, going by the professional name of Allie Raye, appeared
on an episode of ABC's High Incident on Thursday October 31, 1996 (the earthquake
episode). Allie appeared as the heavy redhead with her hair up in a ponytail freaking out
about bottled water and her cat!
January 18, 1998:
"Allie" booked an international commercial with Michael Richards who plays
Kramer on Seinfeld
.....the product is Voda Cellular Phone and will only airs in
Australia. They shot the commercial August 1997.

Her role is a trashy Australian barmaid who shows a lot of cleavage and has messed-up hair
with blacked-out teeth.
She went to wardrobe today and it looks like a pretty big
production. She's very excited. Also, she's now a
full-fledged member of SAG (Screen
Actors Guild) SO NO MORE FREEBIES!
Allie wants to thank you all for your letters of support and asking her about her career.
She'll keep you all posted as
what is happening as it happens. She and her agent are very
positive this is going to be a wonderful experience.
Stay in touch and if you want a copy of the commercial just let her know and she'll e-mail
back and forth. Pictures
from the shoot will be put up on her web page, so keep checking
back from time to time on her fan news page.
Allie says "thanks for the support and don't forget me when I make it big!!"

SITCOM UPDATE from Allie
The sitcom is called All About Allie. It takes place in Greenwich Village and its about an
overweight woman who doesn't realize she is heavy, living with a gay man who has a very
macho side when necessary. They take it to the top. Allie is in her mid 20s and her father
buys an apartment building so that she can be responsible and finally move out of the
house. Allie is a cross between Punky Brewster (clothing) and That Girl (naivety) and the
sitcom is a backwards Three's Company. It has tons of potential and Allie has a new job
venture every few weeks. One is teaching Aerobics to the geriatrics.
There are a couple of networks seriously interested in it, while I shoot my mouth off all
over Hollywood pitching the show. We are hoping someone will buy it as a package deal. And
a couple of well known celebrities have taken interest in it as well playing the roles of
Allie's father and her mother and maybe her roommate. We shall see. Just keep your fingers
crossed and I will keep everyone posted. It looks really good. I always knew that D in
English class from Mrs. Hale would pay off someday!!!

SITCOM UPDATE from Allie (10/98)
Hello. Just an update on my sitcom situation. I love getting the mail from everyone.
Thanks.
The sitcom is now called "Bleeker Street". It takes place in Greenwich Village
and its about a Rubenesque woman, living with a gay man who has a very macho side when
necessary. They take it over the top. The father inherits an apartment building and turns
it over to Chloe. (Allie's character) She is in graduate school doing her masters on
Anthroplogy . (ha!) More to come on that subject. She ends up teaching Aerobics to a very
funny breed of people. (Can't give it all away!) Without going into too many more details,
it has been re-written and tightened and given to a few big wigs at the networks. I have
since made many new connections and things are slow, but happening. I can't wait till its
picked up!! I know...i know..Patience comes to those who wait!!
More to come in the following months! Till then,
Allie Raye
