Mrs. Pearl Richardson (Staff) passed away January 26th at Casey House in Rockville.  She was 89 years old.

PEARL H RICHARDSON

FROSTBURG — Pearl H. Richardson, 89, of Silver Spring, formerly of Frostburg, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at Casey House, Rockville.

Born Dec. 4, 1914, in Hoffman, she was the daughter of the late John William and Annie (Metzner) Hendley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Richardson; three sisters, Elizabeth Geis, Elvira Nelson and Margaret Layman; and three brothers, John Hendley, Arthur Hendley and Leslie Hendley.

Mrs. Richardson taught school in Allegany County and Montgomery County. She was a member of the Rockville United Methodist Church, Eastern Star Mt. Chapter 15 and P.E.O. of Mt. Chapter 15.

At her request, her body was cremated.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. T. William Preston officiating.

Inurnment will be in the German Lutheran Cemetery, Frostburg.
