Mr. Hill's 75th Birthday Party Photos - Photo 6 Text
Mr. Hill,
As I am going back, there were only a few people whom truly cared about my academic success. You were one of them. Thanks for caring and helping a brother make it.
If you are even in Charlotte, NC, look me up.
Love,
Victor

Dear Mr. Hill:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! You must be one of the most-admired people I know, and deservedly so. Like most everyone else, I have many fond memories of your classes at Peary and the unique way that you conducted them. You always had so much respect for the students that they, in turn, could not help but have the utmost respect for you.
One day of the many in your classes will always stick in my mind. I had been out ill for several days and returned on the day of a test which I was not prepared for. I took the test anyway but did not do very well. You recognized that I still wasn’t feeling well and that I could do better on the test if given another chance. Giving me that chance to re-take the test and improve my grade helped my confidence and made me feel better in so many ways. Not many other high school teachers would have been that sensitive and caring in similar situations, I think. In thinking about it these 20 years later, I now realize that you were doing so much more than just giving me a chance to improve my grade. For that and for all of your fantastic teachings, about math and about life, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Have a great birthday, Mr. Hill. I’ll never forget you.
Best wishes,
Anita Blevins Reichert
