Paula Marshall (1982) starred in the series CUPID during
the 1998-99 season on ABC
with Jeremy Piven and Jeffrey D. Sams
From director/executive producer Scott Winant ("My So-Called Life,"
"thirtysomething"), Joe Voci and Scott Sanders comes a romantic comedy for
hopeless romantics everywhere. Ever wonder why falling in love is so hard? Ever wonder why
the divorce rate is so high? Blame Trevor Hale (Jeremy Piven, "Ellen"). He's
attractive, sarcastic, irreverent, and claims to be Cupid.
When Trevor ends up in Bellevue for a psychiatric evaluation, he explains that he was
kicked off Mount Olympus for un-godlike behavior. Now he is forced to "do time"
on Earth, and his sentence is to unite 100 couples without any magic (i.e., sans his Bow
and Arrow). While in Bellevue, Trevor is put under the care of Dr. Claire Allen (Paula
Marshall), a young, attractive psychiatrist and a renowned expert in love and romance.
Despite a feisty doctor/patient relationship, Claire and Trevor have an inexplicable
attraction. But is this guy really Cupid?

From Mandalay Television in association with Columbia TriStar Television. Scott Winant,
Joe Voci and Scott Sanders are executive producers. Also starring Jeffrey D.
Sams.
