2/06 - From Bill Viney (1970) and Debbie Hricko Viney (1970): Our daughter Barbie is a junior attending the University of Illinois. She represented the University at the 2006 Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships held at Ohio State in February and became the first Big Ten Swimming Champion in 24 years for the University of Illinois. Her 100 Freestyle time of 49.06 has given her an automatic invite to the NCAA Division 1 Women's Swimming and Diving Championships in Athens, GA in March. She holds the University of Illinois school records in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle and took 16th last year at NCAA's in the 100 freestyle.
