Your 25-Year Reunion was held as follows...

From Denise Anderson Rosendall, 10/13/04:

The Class of 1979 celebrated its 25-year class reunion on September 18, 2004 at
the Willow Tree Inn in Gaithersburg MD.  Classmates traveled all the way from
Washington State, California, Florida and the Carolinas to renew friendships,
reminisce about the past and catch up on the present.  A few classmates attended
for the first time and it sure was great to see them after 25 years.  Everyone had a
good time and the party extended late into the evening as the reunion migrated
from the restaurant to the downstairs bar.  The Class thanks Mary Fegan Heckhaus for
stepping up to organize the party, Lu Ann Crouse for securing the site, Patti Murphy
Minnick for arranging the happy hour at J.J. Muldoons, and the MSO for helping us
spread the word.  We missed those of you who were unable to attend and hope to see
you at the 30th!  Prizes were awarded at the Reunion to the following classmates:

Furthest Traveled
1st Place – Liz Latham – Seattle, Washington
Honorable Mention – Rob Henry – Spokane, Washington
Honorable Mention – Karen Slomiak – Manhattan Beach, California

 Most Children
Mary Burke – 6 Children

Longest Married
Eric Wenger – 24 years, but did not hear our announcement.
That seems to happen to men after several years of marriage.
Honorable Mention – Carol Capotosto – 22 years
Honorable Mention - Dale & Bevy (Ponton) Kerns.  He said they had been married
21 years.  She said 22 years.  We’ll let them work that one out.

In Memory of John
who left us on September 5, 2001

From twin-sister, Jean Lejnar: "I wanted to send a heartfelt thanks to the extraordinary people
who coordinated the benefit on the 29th of April, for my twin brother John. Also, to all of the
wonderful people who attended the event to show their love and support of him. I know that it
went a long way to boosting his spirits. John has always been my best friend and I know how
talented and funny he is, but to see how he has affected so many other lives was amazing. I am
proud of our community of friends and the Peary alums that took the time out to show their
support. Keep praying for him."
