which high school incidents stand out most in my mind I will always remember the plane landing on the lower field and the guy showing up to the cafeteria with a shotgun (I think it was Mr. Hassler that took the gun from him) and the teacher's face when he found out it was loaded.
what I've been doing since high school I graduated with my degree in advanced basket weaving and Administration of Justice from American University in '77. I landed jobs as a police officer at National Airport for the FAA for a short time and switched over to the Metropolitan Police Department, DC from 78 through 81. I came home to Montgomery County PD and have been working here ever since. I finally hit the twentieth anniversary married to the same woman. Police work is easy compared to marriage. My oldest daughter started college in PA and the youngest was is a freshman in HS. It's a full time job keeping the boyfriends away. Good thing I carry a gun and a TEASER. I am working on my 28th year in policing. Still having fun but I can't play on the street as much as I used to. I am doing allot of traveling for the Feds training on less lethal force and technology.
future plans I guess I will keep working as long as I can. Texas and Arizona are looking like really good places for retirement.
the faculty member I remember the best and why Mr. Bragonier always made class enjoyable. We always had fun in his class. I remember Mr. Nawrocki yelling at me for speeding during drivers ed. Then I pointed out that the speed limit changed and he never bothered me again. Of course, he exacted revenge on my daughters as the passed through Baker Middle School where he teaches PE. And, there was Mr. Jacobs and his "cosine of theta". My nodding off in class prompted him to tell me I would not make it through one semester in college.
