We're sad to inform you that Ron Bifareti died March 16, 2006.  A private family service
was held.  He has a son, John, and 2 grandchildren, Aubrey and Owen.  Also bothers Larry,
Don (1965), and sister Cathy Bifareti Borklund (1971).  His mother, known to most as
"Mrs. Biff," just celebrated her 90th birthday.  From Cathy: "He will be missed!"

The Reunion Committee, consisting of Ellie Runion, Mike Holder, Barry Bone,
Glen Edelman, Rick Koenig, Chris Smith, and (in absentia) Terry Plant
planned your 30-year reunion details in 1998:

Date: Saturday, September 26, 1998
Time: 7:30 pm--12:30am
Cost: $65pp, includes everything but the bar; *special $45 price for teachers
Picnic on Sunday, September 27

We will be holding a reunion picnic on Sunday September 27 from 2-6 at the Kengard Pallisades Recreation Center.
It is just off of Beach Drive, just north of the intersection of Beach & Strathmore in Kensington. It is a very central
location, easily accessible from the Beltway and I-270. There is shelter there with restrooms. We have a temporary
permit for a recreation center which is at 4140 Wexford Drive. There are picnic tables, a ball field, a basketball
court, tennis courts, a building with restrooms and kitchen. The building handles 96 people in case a miracle
happens and it rains. Folks should bring their picnic lunch and hang out with fellow grads. It is located on the hiking
path and is a very nice setting. Alums are encouraged to bring your entire families. Alums that are not attending the
party the evening prior are especially invited to attend the picnic so we can meet and greet anyway!

We know the reunion price is a bit on the high side, but it includes: alumni research, printing and mailing invitations,
managing all the details of the event, memory book, and DJ. The Hyatt does functions better than any hotel in
Montgomery County--in fact, it's on par with the best hotels in DC. And we know the Reunion Company is hard at
their research because they have already called several members of our committee.

We apologize to those of you out of town who requested an August date. We couldn't find a suitable gathering
place then, and the locals (if you consider Damascus and Frederick to be local!) preferred September.
